One of the greatest blessings in my life is the fact that my husband and my brother are best friends. And not just because it got me a husband. Kurt has continued to be not only my best friend, and my husband's best friend, but also a wonderful uncle to Ezra and sometimes even a stand-in father over these past few months. Kurt calls to talk to Ezra just about every day and is always checking in on both of us to make sure we are okay while Russ is away.

Kurt and Russ don't talk much while Russ is deployed - I think it's just a guy thing. But it doesn't matter - when they get back together they can pick up right where they left off and still be best guy friends.

While Russ was home on RnR, Kurt came to spend a day with all of us. We all had a blast together. We hung out, drank coffee, and took Ezra to the park.

The photos you are about to see are the result of one of those "hey I think I'll grab my camera and take some photos" moments. I went snap snap snap constantly while we were out at the park and when I came back home to check out the photos I was amazed at how many great shots I got. I was also amazed at what I let Kurt and Russ do to my baby! But, what can I say...These two men may be big kids at heart, but they love Ezra just about more than anyone else in the world ever could. So I trust them...even when I have to cover my eyes while I'm snapping photos!
